Jennifer PeareJenifer Peare is a Registered General Nurse with many years’ hands-on experience in management, training and clinical practice in the health and social care sector.

She has extensive experience in elderly care and has managed two care homes, one 50 bedded elderly home and one 29 bedded specialist dementia home, and a home care service in the UK.

She maintains her nursing practice and registration through relief nursing and management with the Alzheimer Society of Ireland

Jennifer has worked as a tutor in third level education establishments including Milton Keynes College, England where she worked as a Skills Based Assessor supporting learners with distance learning social care and management packages and as a health studies tutor. She is registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland.

While working with the Guideposts Trust UK as a Practice Development Training Consultant, for three years, she participated in a Department of Health project to improve the care of older people with dementia in care homes.

Jennifer’s passion is about making a

difference for the receivers of care

packages as well as the service providers.
